Time-stretched vocals are used throughout the project at 2:37 in Orbit, 2:33 in Sitting Position, 1:28 in Dance Hall in Space, and 2:36 in Airborne. This reflects techniques associated with dub-derived production, particularly within 1990s jungle.
Dub Effects were also sampled, with the “dub siren” appearing throughout the EP (3:23 in Orbit, 1:19 in Sitting Position, and 2:38 in Airborne). This sound originates from small analogue synthesiser units designed to replicate siren tones and is widely used within the dub-influenced UK bass scene.
