This track was created to explore a more club-oriented and bass-driven sound, drawing influence from dubstep pioneer Benga, who has been instrumental in shaping the genre. In contrast to the more atmospheric qualities of the previous track, this piece focuses on repetition and low-frequency impact. A vocal hook sampled from Turn the Page by The Streets is chopped and looped throughout the piece, alongside a repetitive drum groove and multiple modulated “wub” bass sounds, all following the foundational blueprint established by dub. Mike Skinners distinct English accent in the vocal sample further reinforces the tracks UK identity.
